As a small businessman, Tom knows what it takes to keep our economy strong and create good jobs for Brevard families. Tom knows families are hurting today due to rising inflation and high gas prices. As County Commissioner, Tom will work to make Brevard the best place to create
jobs and attract capital in Florida.
Taxes
Families are already paying hundreds of dollars in hidden inflation taxes; they can’t afford more. Both on the Port Authority and in the State House, Tom was committed to fiscal responsibility. He cut taxes in the legislature and never imposed taxes locally through the port authority. On the County Commission, Tom will oppose raising taxes so Brevard families can keep more of their hard-earned money.
Indian River Lagoon
Restoring the Indian River Lagoon is critical to the future of our community. In Tallahassee, Tom voted for millions of dollars to clean up the lagoon. On the County Commission, he will be a strong advocate for the lagoon’s health and work with partners at the local, state, and federal
level to secure needed funds for restoration.
Crime
Tom fully supports law enforcement. He will never vote to defund the police. Tom is proudly endorsed by Sheriff Wayne Ivey. We can count on Tom to always give law enforcement the resources they need to keep our families safe.
